Traffic Art Box #1 - Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center
City District Orlando, an arts and culture organization in Downtown Orlando, opened applications for its Traffic Art Box Program in the summer of 2023. I was one of 12 artists selected from 330+ applicants to participate in the public art program.
I was contracted to work with Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center and paint a traffic box outside their iconic Downtown Orlando building. I collaborated with DPPAC’s marketing team to design traffic box art per their brand identity and landscape.
After client feedback, The City of Orlando approved and permitted my concept art to be painted.
I began painting in September 2023 and spent ~20 hours painting the traffic box and bringing the design to life!

Because of the success of the completedDr. Phillips Performing Arts Center art box, I was contracted to complete two additional traffic art boxes for other businesses around Downtown Orlando. Check out my two additional utility box murals here!
